According to Arunachal Pradesh 54 new Covid-19 infections; no death
A senior health official said here that Arunachal Pradesh reported 54 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, two fewer than the previous day, bringing the total to 65,034.

A senior health official said here that Arunachal Pradesh reported 54 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, two fewer than the previous day, bringing the total to 65,034.
According to State Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr. Lobsang Jampa, there have been no new fatalities in the past 24 hours, leaving the COVID-19 death toll at 296.
The SSO reported that starting July 1, Arunachal Pradesh, which had been virus-free for the previous few months, had seen an increase in COVID-19 cases, much like certain other regions of the country.
25 new cases were recorded by the Capital Complex Region, followed by five in Upper Siang, four in West Kameng, and three in each of the districts of Papum Pare, Kamle, Lohit, Lower Siang, Namsai, and Lower Subansiri. Two further instances were reported from the East Siang district.
According to the official, there are currently 257 COVID-19 instances in the state, but 64,481 people have recovered, including 45 on Tuesday.
As per Dr. Jampa, the COVID-19 recovery rate is currently 99.15%, while the active ratio is 0.390%.
The Capital Complex Region contains the most active cases (74), followed by Namsai (39), Lohit (37), East Siang (16), and West Kameng (13). The Capital Complex Region includes the Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli, and Banderdewa regions.
In the state so far, 12,78,983 samples have been examined for coronavirus, including 229 on Tuesday, according to Jampa.
State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dr. Dimong Padung reported that approximately 17.75 lakh persons had received coronavirus vaccinations in the state to far.
