According to the commerce minister, Apple Inc wants India to account for up to 25% of its production, up from 5%-7% today.
"Apple, yet another success story," stated Piyush Goyal. "They already manufacture roughly 5-7% of their products in India. If I'm not mistaken, they want to increase their manufacturing by 25%. They debuted the most modern models manufactured in India.
