Reliance Jio now provides True 5G services in 11 cities

"With the launch of Jio's True 5G services, users in the region will have endless growth prospects in e-governance, education, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, and SMEs," a representative for the business stated.

On December 28, Reliance Jio, the telecom subsidiary of Reliance Industries (RIL), announced the largest multi-state launch of its True 5G services in 11 cities: Lucknow, Trivandrum, Mysuru, Nashik, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, and Derabassi.

Aside from that, Reliance Jio claimed to be the first and only operator to provide 5G services in cities such as Trivandrum, Mysuru, Nashik, Aurangabad, and Chandigarh Tricity, which includes Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, and Derabassi.

"We are proud to release Jio True 5G in these 11 cities and make it one of our largest launches since we started rolling out True 5G services," a Jio spokesperson said. This is a testament to the millions of Jio consumers in these cities who will now start enjoying the transformational benefits of Jio True 5G technology in 2023."

According to the company's press release, Jio True 5G has three distinct advantages that make it the only TRUE 5G network in India:

1. Independent 5G architecture with sophisticated 5G network and no reliance on 4G network

2. The most extensive and greatest 5G spectrum combination over 700 MHz, 3500 MHz, and 26 GHz bands.

3. Carrier Aggregation, which uses innovative technologies to seamlessly combine these 5G frequencies into a single robust "data highway."

The announcement comes on the 20th anniversary of RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani's tenure at the helm of the oil-to-telecom company.

"With the launch of Jio's True 5G services, consumers in the region will not only get the best communications network, but also unlimited growth potential in e-governance, education, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT, and SMEs," the spokesman added.
