Maruti Suzuki is establishing a brand new plant in Haryana, the state's third after Gurugram and Manesar. According to the manufacturer, the projected manufacturing plant can generate up to 2.5 lakh automobiles per year.

HARYANA'S MARUTI PLANT
1.Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has bought 800 acres of land at IMT Kharkhoda for its new automobile assembly site. The project's final cost is expected to be Rs 18,000 crore.
2.It has the capacity to employ 11,000 people, including skilled, unskilled, and semi-skilled workers.
3.In addition to MSIL, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has purchased a 100-acre land lot for the purpose of establishing an integrated two-wheeler manufacturing complex, including engines.
4.The total project cost is anticipated to be Rs 1,466 crore, with 2,000 skilled, unskilled, and semi-skilled workers potentially employed.
The Haryana government said in a statement that Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL)/ Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) and Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) are set to sign an agreement on May 19 for the allotment of 800-acre and 100-acre land at IMT Kharkhoda, respectively.

Gurugram and Manesar, both in Haryana, produce approximately 15.5 lakh units each year. Today, the Gurugram-Manesar-Bawal belt is known as North India's Auto Hub.
TOWNSHIP INDUSTRIAL MODEL
The Industrial Model Township (IMT) at Kharkhoda, where Maruti will build its plant, is an integrated industrial township with world-class infrastructure that is being developed over a 3,217-acre site.
It is strategically placed adjacent to the western peripheral (Kundli-Manesar-Palwal) Expressway and SH-18 on the Delhi-Haryana border.
The NCR canal and the electricity utilities provide ample water and power to the IMT. Direct connections are available to Delhi, Bahadurgarh, Gurgaon, and Sonipat.
