Elon Musk escalated his legal battle against the social media firm over his attempt to back out of the $44 billion purchase on Friday by filing a countersuit against Twitter Inc. under seal.
However, in accordance with court procedures, a redacted version of the 164-page document might soon be made available.
In an accompanying document that he signed, Musk stated, "I have examined the counterclaims and declare that the matter contained therein, insofar as it affects my acts and deeds, is true, and insofar as it refers to the acts and deeds of any other person, I believe it to be true."
