Major cryptocurrencies experienced negative trading early on August 19 as the market cap of all cryptocurrencies fell 3.32 percent to $1.08 trillion from the previous day. Over the past 24 hours, the overall volume of the crypto market fell by 11.06 percent, reaching $64.45 billion.

DeFi's 24-hour volume was $5.08 billion, or 7.78%, of the entire volume of the cryptocurrency market. All stable coin volume was $59.20 billion, or 91.85% of the 24-hour volume of the whole crypto market.
