EVTRIC Motors releases an electric bicycle for Rs. 1.60 lakh
AXIS, RIDE, and MIGHTY are the three electric scooters that EVTRIC currently offers in its product line.
On June 22, EV manufacturer EVTRIC Motors announced the release of its first motorcycle, which is priced at Rs. 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, it stated that beginning on June 22, reservations for the e-bike, EVTRIC Rise, would be accepted with a Rs 5,000 down payment.
The motorcycle, which was recently unveiled during the company's dealers' convention in Rajasthan, can travel more than 110 kilometres on a single charge and has a top speed of 70 km/h. EVTRIC Motors is a division of PAPL, an automation firm situated in Pune.
Last July, PAPL entered the electric vehicle market with ambitions to roll out electric scooters, bicycles, bikes, and three-wheelers while investing a total of Rs 100 crore in the company over time. AXIS, RIDE, and MIGHTY are the three electric scooters that EVTRIC currently offers in its product line. Through a network of 125 touchpoints spread across 22 states, these vehicles are being sold.
The accompanying 10amp micro charger, which has an auto cut feature, can fully charge the e-bike, which has a 2000 watt BLDC motor and a 70v/40ah lithium-ion battery, in four hours, according to the manufacturer.
