Shinzo Abe: Former Japanese Prime Minister's shooting has horrified world leaders
Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was fired at while speaking at an election event in Nara.
Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe passed unexpectedly on Friday after being shot twice while giving an election speech in Nara, western Japan. He was speaking at an electoral gathering in Nara Town just before Sunday's voting for the Upper House of the Parliament when the tragedy happened. According to sources, Abe's heart failed as a result of being shot. He was taken away by helicopter and subsequently admitted to a hospital. According to the broadcasted video, Abe fell to the ground and numerous security personnel rushed to help him. When Abe passed out, he was gripping his chest and had blood all over his clothes.
