The precious metal completed the previous trade at Rs 50,377 per 10 grammes.
Silver rose Rs 585 to Rs 61,657 per kilogramme, up from Rs 61,072 per kilogramme in the previous trading.
Gold was up at USD 1,845 per ounce on the international market, while silver was unchanged at USD 21.92 per ounce.
"Gold prices were stable on Friday, with spot gold prices at COMEX trading 0.23 percent higher at USD 1,845 per ounce. With the dollar falling and US bond yields falling, gold prices remained stable "HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel remarked.
