Nexus Venture Partners, Y Combinator, Sequoia Capital India, and SOMA Capital have all invested $2 million in Bengaluru-based Aerotime in a seed round. Akshay Kothari, Chief Operating Officer at Notion, Nir Eyal, bestselling author of Hooked and Indistractable, and Damien Coullon, Vice President of Product at LinkedIn, were among the angel investors in the round.

Aerotime intends to use the newly generated funds to expand and target mid- to large-sized businesses in order to improve workplace productivity and eliminate distractions.

Aerotime is a calendar created by Piyush Narwani and Dhruv Goel in 2021 that claims to eliminate productivity losses caused by fragmented meetings and diversions without disrupting the user's workflow.

"Time is one of the most valuable assets we have," Narwani added, "yet we waste it without recognising it." Two of the most important reasons for this are prioritisation and context flipping." "Aerotime helps you be purposeful with your time and automates various workflows to save time," he continued. Our mission is to assist people achieve a condition of flow in their lives."

According to the company, it uses more than 20 characteristics to suggest acceptable meeting times, such as preferred attention times, previous meeting schedules, and so on.

Aerotime also claims to assist employees focus by providing focus music and a Slack integration that snoozes alerts once a person updates their status, indicating that they are focusing.
