In Kolkata, a startup has launched a 10-minute liquor delivery service

In a statement, a Hyderabad-based business announced the launch of its 10-minute liquor delivery service in Kolkata. Innovent Technologies Private Limited's flagship brand, Booozie, claims to be India's first 10-minute liquor delivery platform.

Several companies already offer online liquor delivery, but none now offer a 10-minute service, according to the report. According to the announcement, the service was introduced in the eastern metropolis after receiving authorisation from the West Bengal State Excise Department.

"Booozie is a delivery aggregator that picks up booze from the nearest shop and delivers it in 10 minutes using breakthrough AI that predicts consumer behaviour and order patterns," according to the company. According to Innovent Technologies, it has developed a B2B logistics management technology that will reduce delivery costs, making Booozie a more economical platform.

"We applaud the West Bengal government's decision to allow aggregators to enter the market, which will help to alleviate the gap between consumer demand and present supply."

"Most of the apprehensions associated with liquor delivery, such as delivery to under-age persons, adulteration, excessive consumption, and so on, have been addressed with the advent of cutting-edge technologies and Booozie's commitment to responsible drinking," said Vivekanand Balijepalli, co-founder and CEO of Booozie.
