Opening an engineering design centre in France is L&T Technology Services

L&T Technology Services Limited (LTTS), a provider of engineering services, recently opened its engineering design centre (EDC) in Toulouse, France, with the initial goal of serving the emerging digital needs of the international aerospace and defence industries.

According to a statement released by the firm on Tuesday, the EDC will first concentrate on creating innovative solutions for the aerospace and defence sectors. LTTS will collaborate as an engineering partner with the region's main original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

According to the corporation, the centre will focus on complete solutions for aerospace design and manufacture, with a staff of LTTS experts that have demonstrated proficiency in digital engineering, systems engineering, and avionics design. The statement said, "LTTS expects to hire over 100 engineers for the centre in the next two years."

In order to focus on sustainable next-generation solutions for customer and operational excellence, such as avionics systems and airline digital solutions, LTTS stated it intends to invest in and expand the new EDC.

To serve the home market, the centre will also foster engineering solutions in other fields, such as digital plant solutions and the production and distribution of hydrogen fuel.
