Wind Two Renergy is purchased by Torrent Power for Rs 33 crore

On Saturday, Torrent Power said that it has purchased a 100% share in Wind Two Renergy Private Ltd (WTRPL) from Inox Green Energy Services for Rs 32.51 crore. According to a BSE filing, the company purchased 3,25,10,000 equity shares of WTRPL with a face value of Rs 10 apiece.
WTRPL has a 50MW capacity for power generation and had revenue of Rs 35.01 crore in 2021–2022 The focus area of Torrent, sustainable growth using renewable energy, is supported by this acquisition.
The goal of WTRPL, which was incorporated on April 20, 2017 is to produce power using renewable sources. It has put into action a 50MW wind energy project in Gujarat's Kutch district. Under the terms of a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PTC India Limited, the project's electricity is provided.
